OVERVIEW
High costs of electricity and maintenance of public lighting encouraged the Slovenian municipalities of Cerknica, Škofja Loka, Sevnica, Novo Mesto, Metlika, Črnomelj, and Semič to replace technologically outdated luminaires with new, environmentally friendly LED technology.
SOLUTION
With the installation of E LUM luminaires, we were able to increase energy efficiency. Energy savings are now over 50%. Furthermore, maintenance costs have been dramatically reduced, thanks to product longevity.
To improve the light intensity at busy crossroads in Novo Mesto, we replaced existing high pressure 250W sodium luminaires with E LUM 2 luminaires (48.120.001).
RESOLUTION
We recorded savings of more than 50%, and the difference in light intensity is obvious for all to see.
